Take the Kids
Nowadays it's easy to forget when anyone under the age of 14 had to be left outside in the beer garden!
Most Great Country Pubs placate children with reduced-price, smaller portions on the menu and highchairs are often supplied for tiny tots. Family bedrooms are more common, while other establishments will add an extra bed on request.
The majority have a beer garden suitable for kids to play safely, sometimes with an adapted play area, enabling parents to relax and enjoy their drink. While the rural surroundings encourage all the family to spend more time outdoors partaking in healthier activities such as walking or cycling, and the chance for a bit of family bonding.
Note: Landlords can at their own discretion apply restrictions when it comes to minors in their pub and parents should respect this ensuring they are always on their best behaviour, and obviously all pubs have to conform to licensing laws.
Search our 'Child Friendly Pubs' now and find the ideal pub where you can take the kids along too this summer.
